She's Back!

My darling friend from my childhood, Holly Hobbie, is back! And she has two incarnations. One is the old Holly Hobbie we all know at And the other is a new Holly meant for your daughter's or grandaughter's...and this Holly is actually the great-grandaughter of the original Holly Hobby and her website is I loved watching the little video clip from the DVD where this new Holly is going through a chest of the original Holly Hobby's things. If I had a daughter I would be buying this DVD for her.

Both sites have things free items like ecards (love friends will be recieving some from me), computer wallpaper, AIM icons, and more. And the sites also tell about some of the products that are available to purchase now. And there's also a limited edtion art print that you can recieve free if you get the code from products that are at particpating stores. (Note: I discovered by accident that some places online have posted what the code is too.)

I've missed my friend. I'm glad to see her back!

Roses Pillow

Floral Pillow

Songbird Pillow

Little Miss Muffet surely would have enjoyed these fancy needlepoint tuffets (pillows) by C'est Chouette as she ate her curds and whey. They'll look just as nice, or probably even nicer, in your cottage home setting.

An Office of Her Own

I've been thinking about how I need to create an organized office space for me...but just being organized and isn't enough. I want my office area to be feminine and cozy too.

So off I went to look for inspiring and pretty items for the office. Here are a few of my finds..

First, from is an enamel mail holder (and note the file folders shown are available on this site too) and a pretty wire basket for holding folders. Anna Griffin makes pretty file folders, these ones shown here were found at

And last, a book recommended by Amy
Powers of the Inspire Company.
I haven't read this yet, but it's on my wish list.

Also available are these kits for making Fleur Monogram Sachets.

Decor Ideas in Bloom

If you are looking to create a romantic, cottage style home then receiving inspiration by thumbing through magazines such as Romantic Homes may just be what you need. A peek inside this magazine will reveal home decor that I'd describe as romantic country with casual elegance.

Another romantic magazine is Southern Lady which although I've only looked at a couple issues seems to be a good one for romantic living Southern style. And though it isn't always quite as romantic as the other two another favorite of mine is Country Living.

Make yourself cozy in your chair as you sit before your computer, perhaps have a cup of scented tea (but be careful not to spill it), maybe put on some romantic music, and do whatever else you please to put you in the mood to peruse our finds of sweet, romantic, cottage living inspired home decor and accessories, books and magazines, and of course items for pampering and nurturing you such as bath and body products.

I've searched the internet for delightful treasures for your home (or at least to daydream having in your home), to give as gifts, etc. that fills you with bliss, cozy warmth, and more. I'll be posting (on a somewhat irregular basis probably) what I've found from my adventures surfing the 'net what I hope you will find charming, enjoyable, and useful.
